The items sold on this website www.ericfaure.com are intended for any Internet user, whether a person or a representative:

  • a Consumer: natural or legal person who accepts a contract for the sale of a product or service for non-professional purposes, within the framework of the French and European Consumer Code.
  • or a professional client who acts, within the framework of the French and European Commercial Code, as the legal representative of a company, with the aim of either reselling products or equipping his company with these products.

These Terms and Conditions exclusively govern the relations between Atelier C and its Internet Customers (ordering on this site, whether they represent a Consumer or a company), excluding sales made directly to Ceramic Workshop of Saint Antonin Noble Val (82) France.

For any Internet Customer, placing an order for products on this site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms, which prevail over any other particular condition of the Internet Customer.

Atelier C reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. However, the applicable Terms are those in effect at the time of ordering.

These Terms mention the sign “Atelier C” (Ceramic Workshop) as the sole commercial contact for customers using this company’s online ordering service. Atelier C is managed by Eric Faure, the legal person responsible for this company and therefore for the relationship with its internet customers.

4- Notes for professional customersTop

To benefit from the professional conditions, the client (moral representative of a company) must make a request by email or by mail (see contact details above) by attaching professional proof (Kbis for France). In this request, the professional client must provide all the information concerning the activity of his company as well as the partnership project envisaged. After examining the file, we reserve the right to accept or refuse the request.

5- Description and specificity of the offered productsTop

The website www.ericfaure.com offers online sales of utility, decorative and sculptural glazed porcelain ceramics handcrafted by Eric Faure, a potter ceramist based at the address mentioned above.

By definition, all the ceramics presented are unique pieces. They are handcrafted one by one in our workshop. The rendering of the glazes as well as the appearance and shape vary from piece to piece. Despite the care taken in the quality of the images on this site, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the rendering colors and proportions of our ceramics. For these reasons, all the photos representing our ceramics are not contractual.

To help the Customer to make an informed purchase, there are two types of ceramic mentioned in the description of each ceramic:

Small series piece – ceramic made in few copies from the same model. Depending on the quantity available in stock, this type of part can be purchased in several copies. The photo representing the piece in its description sheet is a generic image of a ceramic similar to those that will be shipped. Shape, glaze rendering and appearance may vary. The choice of items ordered is left to the potter’s initiative.

Unique piece – ceramic made in a single copy. This type of ceramic can only be purchased in a single copy. The ceramic represented on the photos of the description sheet is identical to the ceramic which will be shipped. However, this type of ceramic can be mentioned as being “available to order” (see paragraph – 7 of these Terms). In this case, the ceramic represented on the photo of the description sheet is displayed for information only and is not contractual.

6- The steps to complete an online purchaseTop
  • selection of products and quantities
  • add products to cart
  • order products
  • identification or entry of a new customer account
  • selection of a delivery method
  • selection of a payment method then validation of the payment

An email is automatically sent to the Customer to confirm the order, subject to the validity of the customer’s email.

On the sheet of each ceramic, if the article is mentioned “Available on back-order” or, if the requested quantity is greater than the available stock and the article can be backordered, the customer has the possibility of validating and paying his purchases. Eric Faure Ceramic Workshop undertakes to honor the order within 30 calendar days from the validation of payment for this order.

8- Customer cart functionTop

At any time, during the ordering process, the customer has the possibility to check the total price (basket displayed at the bottom right of the site) and to correct the data or to cancel the order. Any order placed on the site and delivered outside of France may be subject to possible taxes and customs duties which are imposed when the package reaches its destination. These customs duties and any taxes related to the delivery of an item are the responsibility of the Customer. Atelier C makes every effort to inform the customer as well as possible of any customs duties and applicable taxes.

Our prices can be changed at any time. The prices are likely to be different from those displayed at the physical workshop of Saint Antonin Noble Val.

Particular care is taken in the packaging of the orders. The ceramics are individually protected with tissue paper, then each wrapped in corrugated cardboard and wedged in the center of a spacious cardboard box.

1- Shipping method
The standard shipping method is Colissimo from the French Post. Depending on the location of the customer, several options are available such as home delivery or relay point. The delivery time is 48 hours (2 days) for France and 3 to 8 days for other destinations (times in working days and subject to the functioning of the postal service) from the day after the validation of the customer’s payment or from the thirtieth day for an article “available on order” according to the conditions of paragraph – 7 of these Terms.

2- Shipping costs
When ordering, the delivery costs are displayed (estimate) from the Basket page. Then, on the Order Confirmation page, the customer can select the most appropriate delivery service among those offered (depending on the customer’s location). Transport costs are indexed to the volumetric weight of the package(s) containing the ceramic(s). We advise you to group your purchases into a single order. We cannot group several distinct orders and you will have to pay the shipping costs for each of them.
