Due to its shape, the design of its spout and its grip, this pitcher provides a clean and safe service.
This pitcher is a unique piece. It’s shaped by hand on the potter’s wheel, sculpted to form the facets, and then modeled to add handles. It is made of porcelain, glazed in white and fired at high temperature. The facets can be extremely thin and translucent. The result is a game of light, shade and transparency.
Free from decoration, the surfaces are no less pictorial. Depending on where the light comes from, the facets reveal shades of white. The play of light and shadow is both vertical and horizontal with the ripple caused by the passage of the faceting tool.
Apart from the visual appearance of this pitcher, its surface is pleasant to the touch. You can feel the traces of the manufacture by hand, the marks of the tools and the silky glaze that makes you think of the texture of the skin.
Due to the composition of the glaze and the great hardness of the porcelain, this ceramic is perfectly food safe. It is completely waterproof and non-porous. It is perfectly resistant to attacks from the dishwasher. Only a violent clash can be potentially fatal to him, like glass.
Depending on the drinks consumed, such as wine, a deposit may appear naturally inside the carafe after a certain time of use. This can be cleaned with baking soda.
