Organized by the association Terre et Terres, the market brings together each spring since 1991 a selection of 70 ceramicists from France and Europe. Over the years, the event has become established in the local landscape while becoming a major event in contemporary ceramics in the greater Southwest of France. For over 30 years, it has followed the evolution of contemporary ceramics, contributed to its renewal, and has become a great annual meeting point for enthusiasts and the general public.
At the heart of the market, a Sculpture Square honors ceramicists who prioritize sculptural expression: Dominique Stutz – Eliane Monnin – Stéphanie Martin – Marina Le Gall. It’s an opportunity for these artists to exhibit major pieces of their work outdoors.
