The Gallery
Unearthed Gallery is committed to elevating the art of ceramics and tea by fostering a community around these unique art forms. The gallery curates artists and artisans, providing a unique space for discovering their creations and promoting cultural exchange. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese appreciation of each object as a way of life, it highlights the beauty and cultural significance of tea through ceramics and tea experiences. Its gallery, workshop, and tea space are conducive environments for experiencing and sharing the art of ceramics and tea.
Marcel Karcher
This unique establishment is managed by Marcel Karcher. Originally from Munich, Germany, he has a passion for all things tea-related. Tea has taken him from running an online tea sales business to self-directed pottery apprenticeship (specializing in ceramic tea utensils) and led him on a 9-month “Tea Sabbatical,” tracing the tea route from India to China. In recent years, he has enjoyed putting his tea practice online and sharing it on Instagram under the handle “@tea.log,” where 25,000 tea enthusiasts follow him.
